How many times, when somebody declares that they are bored, have you heard the retort ‘only boring people get bored’?
As someone who is often of the opinion she is bored, my response has always been, ‘maybe its because I’ve got boring friends.’ That usually shuts them up. Even so, it was in one of my frequent bored phases that I decided my usual retort wasn’t quite good enough…
